I recently completed the sequel to Caraval , Legendary , by Stephanie Garber, and I have so much to say! This book was AMAZING!!! Caraval was also amazing, but this book was even better! For those of you who haven't read Caraval , it follows two sisters, Scarlett and Tella, as they participate in magical carnival/circus-esque game. So if you haven't read Caraval , go read it, and then come back and find out what Legendary is about! In Legendary , we actually follow a different character, Scarlett's sister Tella, as she plays Caraval once again in an effort to uncover the true identity of Caraval master Legend. There are even more eccentric characters in this novel, and it is just so, so good! That's all I can say for now, but if you haven't read Caraval , read it now (you won't regret it!) and then read Legendary when it comes out on May 29th! **A big thanks to Flat Iron books for sending an advanced copy my way!** Rating: 5/5 stars

I recently finished The Book of Essie by Meghan Maclean Weir, and... oh my gosh. This book was FANTASTIC. I can't wait for more people to read it when it comes out in June. Before I get into my review, I do want to make sure you are all aware that there are some trigger warnings in this novel. The Book of Essie is a multi-perspective adult fiction novel that is centered around a family very similar to the Duggars, from Nineteen Kids and Counting . The family in this novel is quite literally a fictional version of the Duggar family.
