Tweet Cute by Emma Lord: Blog Tour!

**This post is being sponsored by Wednesday Books and Macmillan for the release of Tweet Cute by Emma Lord, which comes out January 21st!**

I love a good rom-com! I was so excited when Wednesday Books reached out to me to see if I'd like to be part of the blog tour for Tweet Cute, a YA re-imagining of You've Got Mail! I'm actually a film major, and while I love rom-coms, I'm not funny enough to write the screenplay (or book?) for one :(. Of course, I still love to read them, and Tweet Cute was an absolute delight! It was so cute and so fun and you should add this to your TBR immediately! Emma was kind enough to do a Q&A with me about the book, rom-coms, her favorite ships, and more!

Thank you so much to Emma Lord for taking part in this Q&A with me! Tweet Cute comes out THIS TUESDAY, so be sure to pick up a copy!

1.   How would you describe Tweet Cute using only pop culture references (ex: Gilmore Girls meets Pretty Little Liars)?

I'd describe Tweet Cute as You've Got Mail Gossip Girl + the entire front display case of a .  Sprinkles cupcake shop.

2.   The romance in Tweet Cute is ADORABLE! What are your favorite romances from movies, TV shows, and YA books? I’m a Scandal junkie, and I’ll be an Olitz shipper until the day I die!

Oooh, my favorite romances?? At the moment it's Michelle Jones x Peter Parker in the MCU's Spider-Man, Finn x Poe from Star Wars (John Boyega and Oscar Isaac say it's canon, SO IT IS), Anne x Gilbert from Anne with an E, and OMG ALEX x HENRY FROM RED WHITE AND ROYAL BLUE, I swear Casey's trying to kill me. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bajillion of them but those are the ones that are most aggressively in my Tumblr feed right now. [SIDE NOTE: I need to watch Scandal, I own the iconic Olivia Pope wine glass but STILL HAVE NOT WATCHED THE SHOW!!]

3.   Tweet Cute has been compared to You’ve Got Mail. Fun fact: My grandmother went to college with Nora Ephron. They did not like each other, which I find hilarious considering I’m a film major J. What are some of your favorite rom-coms?

My fave rom-coms are probably About Time, You've Got Mail, Crazy Rich Asians, Mrs. Pettigrew Lives For A Day, Train Wreck, Love, Simon, The Proposal, and Bridget Jones' Baby. [OTHER SIDE NOTE I am very curious what yours are, as a film major!! That's bonkers about your grandmother, what a small world ðŸ˜‚😂.]

4.   Now that Tweet Cute is out in the world, do you have any other projects you’re working on? If so, are they also rom-coms, or are you exploring other genres?

I do have some other projects I'm working on! They're all YA rom-com at their hearts, but I'm hoping to expand within that genre. One thing I know for sure is I love an aggressively happy ending ❤❤❤

Thank you so much to Emma Lord for taking part in this Q&A with me! Tweet Cute comes out THIS TUESDAY, so be sure to pick up a copy!

XOXO,

Isabella
